Foot & Ankle Surgical AssociatesFoot & Ankle Surgical Associates, a division of US Foot & Ankle Specialists, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant to join our growing podiatry team.As a Medical Assistant, you will work directly alongside our physicians to provide hands-on patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, supporting providers during procedures, and being part of a collaborative clinical team.Our Medical Assistants receive hands-on training and ongoing clinical education to help you build your skills and succeed in the role.What You'll Do:Welcome patients, room them, take vitals, update medical history, and prepare them for examsAssist physicians with injections, wound care, nail care, minor procedures, and in-office surgeriesApply DME, strappings, and pads; take X-rays; prepare and submit lab specimensPrepare and maintain exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure clinical supplies are stockedProvide patient education and follow-up communicationSupport scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and other administrative tasks as neededVerify insurance, referrals, and authorizationsMaintain accurate patient records through EMR documentation, scanning, and data entrySupport billing follow-ups, orthotics tracking, and daily office operationsWhat We're Looking For:High School Diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a Medical Assistant program OR 1+ year of clinical experienceCMA or RMA certification preferredExperience with medical terminology and insurance processes (preferred)Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced clinic environmentDetail-oriented, professional, and patient-focusedAbility to travel between local office locations, as neededProficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Pay Range:$20 - $22 per hour, based on experienceWhy Join US Foot & Ankle Specialists?Health Insurance (Single & Family plans available)Life InsuranceDisability Insurance401(k) plan with Company MatchEmployee Discount ProgramPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
