In this position, you will play a direct role in completing planned and reactive service operations on our generators. In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining system uptime, availability, and performance for deployed units on customer sites in a specific region. You will train at our headquarters in Menlo Park, CA, and be assigned to a particular service region requiring travel. For those inclined, there are ample growth opportunities within Mainspring, and we offer full benefits, including vacation and sick time, 401K, and pre-IPO stock options.ResponsibilitiesMechanically repair and/or perform maintenance on components and assemblies that make up our generators in accordance with procedures and build checklists in order to meet customer requirementsCollaborate with engineers to fix, repair, and redesign components and assembliesConduct mechanical inspections of deployed units, documenting condition information for use by our team for debugging or troubleshootingBe available to work rotational on-call shifts, as per the written schedule, to provide optimal service and support for our customersQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience with mechanical assembly and/or repair. Experience with automotive, aviation, and/or heavy equipment (i.e. HVAC, elevators/lifts, or industrial equipment) assembly a plusExperience with precision measuring, down to.001", using micrometers, bore gauges, gauge blocks, etc. Also, familiarity with torque wrenches and documentation of repairs performedCandidates must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift to 50 lbs., and wear required PPEMust have knowledge of how to use and maintain basic tools, such as torque wrenches and torque specificationsMust have experience with following written and verbal work instructions while on-siteExcellent communication skills, software knowledge of Google Workspace is a plusA proven track record for the ability to work well with others as part of a dynamic teamAbility to learn quickly, is self-motivated and safety orientedValid Driver's license required; Class A Commercial Driver's License preferred$35 - $50 an hourDoes your experience not meet all of our posted requirements?
