Popeyes Restaurant Assistant ManagerAs a Popeyes Restaurant Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing guest services, training and coaching team members, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily shifts. Essential functions include overseeing restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager, welcoming new team members and providing them with the training needed to perform their job, ensuring team members receive ongoing training and coaching, building the capability of the Shift Managers and preparing them for their next level, consistently thanking the team and celebrating success, actively coaching brand service behaviors, running shifts, overseeing staff performance, guest experience, and daily execution, monitoring speed of service to ensure delivery of guest expectations, ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and clean, ensuring product quality and operations standards are consistently delivered, partnering with the Restaurant General Manager and team to create action plans to improve guest metrics, reviewing sales and scheduling to ensure Quality, Service and Cleanliness (QSC) will be met, ensuring accuracy of daily numbers, cash handling, and HACCP Logs, reviewing inventory efficiencies to create product orders, evaluating and implementing cost controls, monitoring people charts and production planning and making necessary adjustments, creating and monitoring schedule and managing new team member onboarding process, implementing action plans to address employee needs and Operational Assessments, maintaining a strong focus on cleanliness and organization, setting the standard for the team, and working a rotating schedule to cover all aspects of the restaurant's hours of operation, including days, nights, and weekends.Knowledge, skills and abilities required include excellent guest service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform with a sense of urgency, ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, ability to resolve issues in compliance with Popeyes standards, ability to keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts, and make difficult decisions, availability to work all shifts; open, close, weekends and holidays, cash handling and basic math skills, proven ability to problem-solve and handle high-stress situations, ability to interpret financial statements and understand contributing factors, treating all team members and guests with respect, dignity, integrity, and sensitivity, and providing a safe working environment by complying with safety rules and reporting potential hazards.Credentials and experience required include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 2 years' experience in restaurant, hospitality or retail management, additional operations and/or leadership experience required, and Food Safety Manager Certification is required within 30 days of hire/promotion, if not already held.Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently to move objects, ability to carry products/boxes and miscellaneous weighing no more than 50 pounds, consistently handles product preparation, ability to kneel to utilize proper lifting procedures and to open safe, consistently lifts for product preparation, stocking, and inventory, consistently kneels to utilize proper lifting procedures and to open safe, consistently pushes to open and close door to store and storage shed and office as well as cooler and freezers, ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers, frequently stoops to pick up supplies and trash, and ability to work standing and walk for 8 hours or more per day.Pay: $17-$19 per hourDisclaimer: The list of Principal Duties, Essential Functions, and Basic Qualifications is illustrative but not exhaustive.
