RN ICU Mixed Shift

Hourly Wage Estimate: $29.50 - $44.25 / hour Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care in accordance with department requirements and scope of practice. In collaboration with medical providers and care team members, the RN uses established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage” to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. The RN advocates for patients, families, and caregivers and models commitment to the organization’s mission and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes. Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures. Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding. Teaches patients, families, and caregivers about non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy diet and exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. Prepares patients and families for future self‑management. Manages evidence‑based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to meet and exceed quality measures and enhance the exceptional care provided to patients. Co‑coordinates with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 7 days of employment start date. NIH Stroke Scale certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse (RN) license. One or more years of higher acuity nursing experience (hospital), with preference for ICU, step‑down, or ER experience.
