Program Engagement Specialist

Belmark

Launch™ Program Engagement Specialist Come join our team as a Launch™ Program Engagement Specialist and be part of our innovative, fun, and growing team today! Schedule: 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday Pay: Non-exempt Belmark's Launch Program is a unique program focused on partnering with customers who are launching new products into the marketplace. The program produces custom, hand-made packaging for display purposes, including tradeshow presentations, retailer meetings, photoshoots, and other pre-market needs. The Launch Program operates as a miniature version of Belmark, incorporating all facets of the business on a small scale; from quote creation and order entry to graphic proofing, printing on dedicated equipment, hand forming and assembly, and final shipment to the customer. This end-to-end approach allows for speed, flexibility, and close collaboration with customers during critical launch phases. The Launch Team is comprised of a small group of highly skilled individuals with strengths in customer service, graphics, print production, assembly, and finishing. Responsibilities are shared across the department, with each team member owning a specific portion of the process while contributing wherever needed to support team success and customer satisfaction. The Launch Program Engagement Specialist is responsible for building and strengthening customer relationships through partnership, packaging expertise, and creative, customer-focused solutions. This highly visible, customer-facing role collaborates closely with Sales and the Launch Team to support pre-market initiatives, deepen engagement within existing accounts, and help open new opportunities with prospective customers. The Engagement Specialist helps develop tailored solutions aligned with unique product requirements while ensuring alignment with program capacity, timelines, and operational workflows. Acting as a customer advocate, this role ensures customer needs and expectations are clearly communicated internally and that prototype and Launch-produced work is effectively connected to Sales to support relationship growth and business development. Requiring strong packaging knowledge, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the Engagement Specialist serves as a key resource for communicating Launch Program capabilities, delivering presentations, conducting department tours, and facilitating training sessions for internal and external audiences. This role develops program documentation, communication materials, and reporting that highlight Launch Program values, capabilities, and growth. Principle Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for following all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements. Represent Belmark and its culture in a fair, ethical, and professional manner. Understand, promote, and represent Belmark's Mission Statement, Purpose, and Guiding Principles in all interactions and decision-making. Serve as a primary ambassador for the Launch Program, acting as the face of Belmark through direct customer engagement in person, virtually, via email, and by phone. Develop and maintain trusted relationships with external customers by proactively understanding and anticipating their needs, serving as their advocate within the organization, and demonstrating urgency, sound judgment, and critical thinking to resolve issues efficiently. Build strong partnerships with internal teams—particularly Sales—to ensure customer needs are clearly understood, expectations are aligned, and opportunities for collaboration and growth are maximized. Organize and lead customer tours within the Launch department, providing expertise, education, and support for program-related questions and inquiries. Develop and deliver interactive customer experiences, including department tours, presentations, and training sessions that highlight Launch Program capabilities. Collaborate with assigned sales representatives to align Launch prototype orders with customer objectives, supporting relationship growth and new business development initiatives. Conduct Level 2 training for new employees and provide New Sales onboarding training to ensure operational readiness and program understanding. Present Launch Program capabilities at annual sales meetings and other high-visibility internal or external events. Generate and maintain documentation, communication materials, and process guides to support program growth, engagement, and knowledge sharing. Prepare and deliver regular Launch Program reporting to leadership, including monthly metrics and actionable insights that highlight performance trends, customer engagement outcomes, risks, successes, and opportunities for continuous program improvement. Maintain a strong working knowledge of Launch Program operations, products, and workflows to effectively support customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. Address and manage customer complaints as needed, providing clear, timely communication regarding resolution and follow-up. Ensure adherence to, and strive to exceed, quality and productivity standards established and communicated by the department. Actively participate in continuous learning initiatives and demonstrate the willingness and ability to learn new skills and adapt to new or evolving operating systems and best practices.
