The primary focus of this role is to assist engineering test lab by providing maintenance, repair & upgrades to test equipment. The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:What You Will Do:Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities on manual and automated test equipment systems.Repair test equipmentInstallation and checkout of new test equipmentInventory managementTroubleshoot test equipment failures.Implement engineering changes, modify, or upgrade test equipment.Modify or upgrade existing test equipment.Using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic units to the sub-assembly and component level.Ability to read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, engineering prints, and schematics.Effectively communicating work status to team members and support staff (e.g., shift pass down, engineering, maintenance)Understand theory of electronic circuitry and electrical componentsWhat You Will Bring:Prefer a AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.OR in the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required.OR A Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience.Demonstrated experience with the following:Equipment with moving partsHigh voltage/currentChemicals that may emit fumes.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Salary Pay Range: $34.00- $37.00/hr. Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
