Project Manager

Construction Project Manager / Estimator Join a growing construction team managing commercial and industrial projects from estimating through project closeout. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the financial and operational sides of construction and wants ownership of projects from start to finish. Responsibilities + Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents + Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare cost estimates + Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids + Prepare proposals, budgets, and scope summaries + Manage projects through planning, execution, and closeout + Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, schedules, and field teams + Track project costs, budgets, and change orders + Process RFIs, submittals, and project documentation + Attend project meetings with clients, architects, and contractors + Monitor project progress and resolve schedule or budget issues + Support billing, invoicing, and project reporting + Maintain organized project records and documentation Qualifications + 3+ years of Project Management and/or Estimating experience + Experience with commercial, industrial, municipal, or institutional construction projects + Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications + Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems + Experience with bidding, budgeting, RFIs, submittals, and change orders + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) + Experience with construction management software preferred (BeamAI, Knowify, or similar) + Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Why Join? + Manage projects from bid through completion + Blend estimating, project management, and client-facing responsibilities + Opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, collaborative construction environment + Work directly with clients, subcontractors, and leadership on impactful projects Work Environment + Primarily office-based with occasional site visits (approximately 15%) + Collaborative, project-driven environment with exposure to all phases of construction + Opportunity to play a key role in both pre-construction and project execution activities Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rotterdam Junction, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.86/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
