Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, connection-obsessed, and systems-minded Senior UX Designer to lead user-centered product strategies for highly complex Healthcare and Diagnostic web applications under a permanent, full-time fully remote engagement framework based anywhere in Romania. Operating as the definitive UX design anchor for a long-term initiative backed by a global healthcare technology organization, you will step up to claim true individual operational and architectural accountability over the full design lifecycle from discovery through production delivery. Shifting completely away from routine landing page cosmetic edits, superficial UI asset assembly, or isolated static design updates, you will run an active laboratory and medical data visualization, cross-functional stakeholder alignment, and scalable ecosystem configuration laboratory—partnering face-to-face with core software engineers, clinical product managers, and enterprise client teams. This position requires a product design veteran with 5+ years of craft depth who architects clean clinical workflows fluidly natively using UI/UX Design paradigms, evaluates application usability boundaries cleanly through deep empirical testing, and drives strategic UX roadmaps confidently across highly regulated software landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Design Architecture: Direct and execute core user experience design workflows across complex diagnostic ecosystems, moving fluidly from early user discovery to final implementation delivery natively utilizing UI/UX Design practices.
• User Research and Analysis: Orchestrate and synthesize comprehensive user research, field usability test groups, and technical competitor analysis matrices to extract deep behavioral data points.
• Information Architecture Modeling: Map out intuitive information architectures, dense user flows, interactive prototypes, user personas, and exhaustive journey map networks for data-heavy laboratory platforms.
• Design System Governance: Construct, scale, and maintain modern, accessible design systems and shared UX pattern libraries across cross-functional product squads natively using Figma.
• Stakeholder Workshop Facilitation: Convene and facilitate cross-functional alignment workshops, technical solutioning sessions, and design reviews with multi-disciplinary corporate stakeholders and clients.
• Estimation and Pre-Sales Support: Support business development and solutioning phases by providing precise UX effort estimations, mapping resource allocations, and evaluating potential design system risks early.
• Accessibility and Compliance Auditing: Secure absolute consistency, exceptional visual performance, and unwavering adherence to usability standards and WCAG accessibility compliance tracks across all interface screens.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of verified professional product design history engineering intuitive user experiences for dense, complex enterprise web applications.
• Expert-tier design execution capability constructing interactive wireframes (low & high fidelity), detailed user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes natively utilizing UI/UX Design frameworks.
• Advanced operational mastery navigating Figma, FigJam, and Miro to structure design repositories, token systems, and collaboration landscapes.
• Proven capacity interacting with enterprise clients directly, defending technical design choices, and navigating complex corporate matrix layers.
• Strong background managing design estimation metrics, scoping functional requirements, and driving project deliveries autonomously under remote parameters.
• Superb written and verbal communication precision in English, showing an elite capacity to translate complicated business goals into clean, scannable data layouts.
• Location Context: Position features 100% remote parameters open exclusively to qualified designers located permanently within Romania to execute within the Eastern Europe service region.

• Prior experience designing for healthcare, life sciences, medical laboratory devices, diagnostic hardware systems, or heavily regulated clinical software environments.
• Applied knowledge of international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and accessibility testing setups.
• Familiarity with historical design systems or complementary creative tools including Adobe XD, Photoshop, Sketch, or Illustrator.
• Proven background delivering technical leadership, mentoring junior design teammates, and organizing peer portfolio reviews.
