Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.
• Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with verifying insurance information and processing patient intake forms.
• Coordinate communication between patients and medical staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle patient follow-up calls and appointment reminders to enhance patient engagement.
• Maintain an organized and efficient front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to update patient information accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service to create a positive experience for all patients and families.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a medical setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software, including EMR and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
