About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Decatur, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed to support staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Prior Emergency Room nursing experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to or working within a Clinical Decision Unit
• Ability to adapt quickly in high-acuity, high-volume emergency environments
