What You'll Do

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on structural steel components
• Complete TIG welding on steel materials as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for various materials and thicknesses
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and structural integrity
• Repair welding defects when necessary
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work closely with production teams to meet daily manufacturing goals

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience required
• TIG welding experience preferred
• Experience welding structural steel highly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment

This position is based in a steel fabrication shop where employees work with structural steel, welding equipment, and fabrication tools. Proper PPE, including welding helmets, gloves, protective clothing, and steel-toed footwear, is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greeley, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.90 - $20.90/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
