Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Calmness Counseling, your daily duties will involve:
- Managing a diverse caseload of clients, establishing therapeutic rapport, and maintaining professional boundaries as per ethical standards.
- Conducting regular client sessions to assess progress, stability, and readiness for discharge when necessary.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that focus on client goals, continually monitoring and adjusting to meet their evolving needs.
- Maintaining thorough documentation, including progress notes and intake assessments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Engaging in individual supervision and peer collaboration to enhance clinical skills and uphold best practices within the organization.
- Utilizing digital tools and systems, including Excel spreadsheets and electronic health records (EHR), to document client interactions and progress effectively.
- Adopting a growth mindset to tackle challenges professionally and share insights with colleagues, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
- A current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation.
- Proficiency in using standard computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and specific mental health management systems.
Preferred Experience
We value practical experience and knowledge in mental health. Ideal candidates will have:
- A minimum of one year of experience working in a clinical outpatient setting following graduate education.
- A background in providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and youth.
- Comfort and experience with conducting intake assessments and formulating comprehensive treatment plans.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications. We employ a Fee-for-Service model that guarantees payment in advance of collections, ensuring financial stability for our clinicians. Additional benefits include:
