RN Clinical Documentation Specialist

To enhance clinical documentation accuracy, the full-time Remote RN Clinical Documentation Specialist will perform documentation improvement activities, collaborate with healthcare providers, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while working remotely. Key responsibilities Analyze inpatient clinical records to identify and implement documentation improvement opportunities Provide education and training to healthcare providers on documentation best practices and compliance Utilize CDI software to track activities and maintain accurate records of documentation efforts Required qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing or a comparable clinical field required 3-5 years of acute care hospital nursing experience required 3-5 years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or health information management preferred RN - Registered Nurse state licensure or comparable clinical license required Familiarity with regulatory standards related to clinical documentation preferred
