Job Summary and Qualifications The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment. What you will do in this role Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. Manage day-to-day activities to ensure delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment. Perform surgery and portable exams. Accurately follow physician orders, document exam completion in Meditech, scan, document, and verify images in PACS. Follow proper procedures for quality controls and HLD related to equipment and accessories. Document proper patient history, including lab values. Work independently as the sole Ultrasound Tech supporting our FSER in Nolensville. What qualifications you will need Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. ARDMS registered or acquire within 6 months. SPI, Abdomen (AB), and OBGYN (OB) in order to hire strongly preferred. Vascular (VI) preferred. One year of experience strongly preferred.
