Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when requested
• Perform wound care assessments and treatments
• Manage patients with PCA and epidural pain management modalities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Surgical experience required
• Wound care experience required
• PCA and epidural experience required
• Active Georgia RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a charge nurse or team lead capacity
• Familiarity with Med Surg acuity environments in a large academic or hospital setting
