Job Description
As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Team in WINDSOR LOCKS CT you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents access concerns and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas trailer yards parking areas building perimeters and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees visitors and delivery drivers following site protocols for credential checks visitor processing and/or vehicle access.
- Support package handling and shipping operations by observing for operational disruptions damaged property and/or policy violations then communicating concerns through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
