Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patient plans of care Treat residents one-on-one through private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach Deliver personalized therapeutic care to residents in senior living communities to improve quality of life Requirements Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and treating patients with swallowing disorders and communication impairments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and personalized care approaches. Holds a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and a current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
