Construction Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities Provide construction quality oversight for active expansion and renovation projects within regulated manufacturing and laboratory environments Perform field inspections to verify construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable building codes Support quality review of multi-discipline construction activities including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, and architectural scopes Identify, document, and track construction deficiencies, punch list items, and code compliance concerns through resolution Collaborate directly with General Contractors and project teams to address construction quality issues and implement corrective actions Review construction documentation including inspection reports, material submittals, and field quality records Support brownfield construction activities within operational manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and controlled environment spaces Assist with turnover, readiness, and handoff activities as completed construction areas transition to operations Maintain detailed inspection documentation and quality records using project management and document control systems Drive consistent construction quality standards and support overall project execution across active job sites Qualifications 8+ years of experience in construction QA/QC, construction quality engineering, or field inspection roles Direct experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, laboratory, or other highly regulated construction environments preferred Strong understanding of construction methods, installation standards, and field quality inspection practices Experience reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Hands‑on experience identifying construction deficiencies, code compliance issues, and installation concerns across multiple disciplines Experience supporting brownfield expansion, renovation, or retrofit projects within active operational facilities preferred Familiarity with GMP, cleanroom, laboratory, or controlled environment construction is highly desired Ability to independently walk construction sites and assess quality, workmanship, fit, and finish Experience working with General Contractors and coordinating field quality activities on large‑scale capital projects Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills within fast‑paced construction environments #J-18808-Ljbffr Harba Solutions Limited
