Under the direction of the Department Director, the day-to-day supervision of the Lead Technologist and/or Manager and in close collaboration with the Radiologists, the CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards utilizing age-specific criteria. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities. Serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists. Participates in call schedule and remains flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet staffing needs of the department. < /p> < P> Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. • Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program. < /li>
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist. < /li>
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. < /li>
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. < /li>
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography. < /li> < /ul>

  Preferred Qualifications: < /strong>

  • 2 years experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans. < /li> < /ul>
