Serve as a vital liaison between disciplines while coordinating quality, safety, and nursing standards. Lead clinical initiatives, enforce best practices, and actively contribute to national nursing quality outcomes—all under the guidance of the CNO to ensure exceptional, equitable patient care. Core Functions Performs standard assignments within own job functions, expanding knowledge of fundamental theories, practices, procedures, and concepts within the job’s function. Identifies and solves a range of problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions and assesses each using established procedures. Analyzes developments in the field for others. Responds to non‑standard requests from internal and/or external customers; investigates with assistance from others, as needed. Interacts primarily with department peers, supervisor, internal customers, patients and physicians. Makes decisions within guidelines and policies that impact own priorities and allocation of time to meet deadlines. Minimum Qualifications Must possess knowledge of healthcare as normally obtained through the completion of an Associates degree. Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice. Requires a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting. Minimal experience, typically gained through 0‑2 years relevant experience. Employees working at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital, BTMC Behavioral or BUMG, BUMCT in a Behavioral Health clinical setting that serves children must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment. An Arizona Criminal History Affidavit must be signed upon hire. Employees working at BUMCS in a Behavioral Health clinical setting must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain the card for the duration of their employment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in nursing preferred. Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
