Hello! We're a family based in Athens, New York, and we're currently looking to hire a compassionate elder care provider. This role can be either live in or live out, depending on your preference and availability. We are seeking someone who is available for part-time work to help care for an elderly family member who has Parkinson's. He doesn't need a lot of care, but some watching over. And his needs may be progressive. I need some help around the house, such as yard work, laundry and general clean up, grocery shopping and unpacking, some cooking. We need someone to drive my husband to appointments and for local chores. Most often driver can use our car (or all time if they don't have a car). The ideal candidate will learn my husbands medication routine and make sure it is being followed. So far, the only personal care need is manicure and pedicure. But, as stated, needs may be progressive over time. Our family values reliability and a caring attitude, as these are essential in maintaining a supportive home environment.
