Duties

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, nurturing care to support each child’s overall well-being
• Plan and implement engaging weekly lesson plans that promote learning and development
• Build strong, positive relationships with families and collaborate to support each child’s needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Foster independence by guiding children in developing self-help and life skills

Requirements

Teacher Requirements:

• Demonstrates a nurturing, patient, and caring approach when working with children
• Works collaboratively as a positive and reliable team member
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn, grow, and participate in ongoing professional development
• Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Must meet required health screening standards
• Completion of required child care coursework, including Introduction to the Child Care Profession and Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher
• Prior experience working in an early childhood program preferred

Nice To Haves

We are looking for a passionate educator with experience creating fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lesson plans for 2- and 3 -year-olds. The ideal candidate understands the unique needs of this age group and enjoys supporting their growth through play and learning. Teacher certification or licensing is a plus!
