Role Overview: The Project Manager / Product Owner for Ethos Final Expense is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery and evolution of digital life insurance products within a fast-paced insurtech ecosystem. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Final Expense offerings
- Lead end-to-end product development, including policy structure, underwriting rules, and feature enhancements
- Collaborate with engineering teams, UX/design teams, carrier partners, and underwriting and compliance teams
- Drive customer journey optimization
- 5-10+ years of experience in Product Management / Product Ownership or Project Management
- Strong knowledge of life insurance lifecycle
- Experience with Final Expense / Simplified Issue products and digital life insurance platforms
- Experience with platforms such as Guidewire, FAST, Vitech, CyberLife
- Knowledge of third-party data integrations and digital underwriting and rules engines
