Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teacher (Adaptive Curriculum) responsible for delivering adaptive curriculum instruction to elementary students in Bethel, NC. The role includes developing individualized education plans and collaborating with team members to enhance instructional strategies. This position offers a 36-week contract with competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver adaptive curriculum instruction to elementary students in a classroom setting.

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to students' needs.

• Collaborate with team members and support staff to enhance instructional strategies.

• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings.

• Create an inclusive, engaging learning environment that fosters growth.

Qualifications:

• Special Education certification and EC Adaptive Curriculums certification or equivalents.

• NC background/fingerprints and EC Adaptive Curricul Cert.

• Minimum 1 year experience with skills in adaptive curriculum and elementary/middle education settings.

• Must have background checks, strong classroom management skills, and ability to work within an adaptive curriculum.

• All necessary licenses or certifications to be reimbursed or expedited.
