Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in either an inpatient or outpatient context and develop personalized treatment strategies
• Administer physical therapy techniques concentrating on mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate with a team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to enhance patient outcomes
• Inform and guide patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and at-home exercises
• Maintain records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to established facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent accredited degree

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial, though not compulsory

Skills

• Prior experience in a clinical setting is highly preferred
