About the Role\n

Curio Blvd is a consumer brand creating thoughtfully designed products that help people preserve their memories and keepsakes. We’re seeking an experienced freelance PR consultant to build brand awareness and pursue meaningful earned media coverage during a two-month engagement.

\n

Our ideal partner has experience representing consumer goods brands and established relationships with journalists, editors, and producers at major national news outlets and relevant lifestyle publications.

\n

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Develop a focused PR strategy and outreach plan for the engagement.
\n
• Identify compelling story angles around our brand, products, and founder.
\n
• Create and refine pitches, press materials, and a targeted media list.
\n
• Pitch relevant national news outlets, lifestyle publications, gift guides, and product roundups.
\n
• Manage media follow-ups, product sample requests, and interview coordination.
\n
• Provide regular updates on outreach, media interest, and secured coverage.
\n

Ideal Qualifications\n

\n
• A track record of securing earned media coverage for consumer goods, retail, home, gifting, or lifestyle brands.
\n
• Established contacts at major news outlets and relevant consumer publications.
\n
• Strong writing, storytelling, and media pitching skills.
\n
• Ability to identify timely editorial opportunities and tailor pitches to individual outlets.
\n
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team.
\n
