Orthopedics Physician Assistant

We are seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Physician Assistant for an inpatient locum assignment in New Jersey providing coverage from March through August 2027. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call or holiday coverage. Assignment Details Start Date: March 15, 2027 End Date: August 31, 2027 Inpatient Orthopedic Trauma Physician Assistant position Schedule Monday Friday 6:30 AM 2:30 PM No call No holidays Overtime after 40 hours/week Clinical Responsibilities Round on preoperative and postoperative inpatients Assist with Orthopedic Trauma consults Daily inpatient rounds Floor management Coordinate and assist with patient discharges Exposure to splinting Intermittently assist other PAs with splinting Support Staff Work alongside another APP each day Collaborative Orthopedic Trauma environment Requirements Physician Assistant Up-to-date DEA required Up-to-date CDS required Active NJ license Ideal Candidate A Physician Assistant comfortable with inpatient Orthopedic Trauma, including pre- and postoperative rounding, consults, floor management, discharges, and assisting with splinting.
