Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Overview Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Scottsbluff, NE. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and work‑related skills while working in a hospital setting. This role offers opportunities to work in inpatient and outpatient environments and support interdisciplinary care. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active Nebraska Occupational Therapist license required prior to start of assignment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or equivalent required upon hire. Clinical experience in hospital settings, including inpatient care, outpatient care, or both. Ability to perform standard OT evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document in electronic health records. Willingness to follow site‑specific performance expectations and facility policies; failure to meet expectations may result in contract termination. For the outpatient position: PAMS certification preferred and required for that specific opening. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel therapy experience in acute care or outpatient hospital settings. Experience with work conditioning, ADL/IADL training, splinting, and adaptive equipment recommendations. Experience using common EMR systems in hospital environments. Assignment Details Day shift schedule (daytime hours). Positions available in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. Outpatient position requires PAMS certification.
