JOB SUMMARY:Prepares, cooks and serves food in a sanitary manner according to posted menu using furnished standardized recipes and proceduresAssures food is served at proper temperatures and at scheduled timesResponsible for serving diets according to physician’s diet ordersEducational Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentHealth care dietary experience preferredFood handler’s certification cardSpecific Requirements:Must enjoy working with residents and have good interpersonal skillsMust be able to work with and relate to residents with dementiaMust be able to work independently, efficiently and effectivelyMust be able to follow written procedures and communicationsMust present self in a professional manner and appearance at all timesMust be dependable, honest and trustworthyMust be able to supervise staff in the absence of Dietary ManagerMust have positive attitude with concept of culture change #J-18808-Ljbffr James-L.-West-Center-For-Dementia-Care
