Job summary: The Account Manager directly oversees one Tier 1 or 2 Towne account and is responsible for account performance for financial, guest/patient satisfaction, and client satisfaction objectives. Responsibilities Financial and Business Systems Management: Understands and drives business metrics and performance, improves financial performance and profitability, understands the contractual agreement, maximizes opportunities, improves forecasting, productivity, claims, customer service, and turnover; manages scheduling and overtime for supervised associates, tip reporting, and timekeeping; ensures forecasts, payroll, and accounting reports are on time and accurate; uses standardized Towne Park systems and ensures policy compliance. Human Resources: Engages in recruitment and hiring, fosters retention, responds to associate feedback, ensures proper orientation and training, recognizes performance, develops leaders, conducts regular performance appraisals, holds effective associate meetings, practices positive discipline, delegates responsibilities appropriately, and coaches direct reports. Service Management: Delivers consistent guest/patient service across shifts, optimizes labor to support service delivery, plans for seasonal variances with Area/District Manager and Human Resources, understands client service standards, and drives Towne Park’s results through client metrics. Client Relations Management: Builds cohesive relationships with client staff, maintains regular meeting rhythms and visibility at the site, understands client objectives, seeks opportunities to exceed expectations, and promotes Towne Park’s loyalty and net promoter status. Systems and Standards: Uses Towne Park systems to control assets and expenditures, trains others on system use, maintains a clean work environment, completes tasks timely, collaborates with management and coworkers to meet internal/external needs, and treats clients and associates with courtesy and dignity. Safety and Risk Management: Follows safety procedures, reports accidents and safety concerns, ensures training in safety and loss prevention, reports claims promptly, cooperates with Risk Management, and enforces progressive discipline for at-fault claims and safety violations. Sales Responsibilities: Maintains client relationships, informs leadership of changes at client locations, monitors client business for growth opportunities, and communicates changes in ownership or management to relevant teams. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to plan, set priorities, and manage multiple complex projects under pressure; demonstrated work ethic, drive, energy, and persistence; maintain professionalism in changing situations. Computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and POS systems; strong written and verbal communication for all organizational levels. Ability to represent the company in diverse settings with cultural sensitivity; ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, procedures, manuals, training materials, and communications; ability to compose professional internal/external communications. Qualifications Associate’s degree preferred; or a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of general business practices including accounting, HR, and customer service. Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle; must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; must be at least 18 for insurance purposes and able to pass criminal background, MVR, and drug screening. Compensation and Benefits Compensation: Annual base pay range is $70,000–$80,000; actual compensation based on skills, experience, education, and location. Eligible for annual incentive bonuses depending on job classification and policy guidelines. Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and telemedicine coverage; company-paid basic life and AD&D; short-term and long-term disability; options to enroll in 401(k). Paid Time Off: PTO accrues, six paid holidays per year, up to four paid floating holidays; eligibility varies by classification and length of employment. Benefits subject to plan terms and change. Physical Demands and Work Environment The role requires physical activity such as standing, walking, sitting, using hands, climbing stairs, reaching, balancing, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally; pushing/pulling up to 100 pounds frequently and up to 350 pounds for wheelchair tasks; extended hours including evenings and weekends; travel up to 10% may be required.
