ID: 64111815 Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00) Description: Day/Evening, 8 hr shifts, rotating start times between 630am - 1030am. Weeknight call requirement. May need to stay past end of shift to finish the day's schedule.Must be able to perform Moderate Sedation in procedure, and pre/post all levels of care including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery. We utilize an RN driven assessment approach to sedation. Be an integral part of a surgical team that performs multispecialty procedures. Assume the overall responsibility for management of the operating room to which you are assigned. Special Equipment : Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start. #Tier3 Travel Compliance Floating : Travelers are required to float as needed. Local Rule : 50 miles from the facility. Locals not accepted. Minimum experience : Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to . References : please remove all references. Pass /Fail Testing required with strict passing criteria. A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts: Adult Exam: 100% identification of lethal rhythms: Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3 rd degree heart blocks [1 incorrect answer will cause failure] Passing score of 80% or higher Pediatric Exam Ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole, and sinus bradycardia Passing score of 80% or higher Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts the assignment will be cancelled.
