Key Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• Provide respiratory care treatment and services
• Administer therapeutic and diagnostic procedures
• Evaluate patients' responses to therapies and adjust care plans accordingly
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare staff regarding patient care
• Maintain and monitor equipment operation and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Requirements of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• Active Oregon RRT license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Compliance completion required two weeks prior to start date
• PALS to be obtained after six months if extended
