Our organization is in search of Board Certified OB-GYNs for a Hospitalist/Laborist position.

This role offers exceptional support from various specialties, including Neonatology, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), Pediatrics, and Adult medical services. Opportunities are available at our Sisters of Charity Hospital, which features a Level III NICU, as well as at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, equipped with a Level II NICU. Our facilities are bustling with skilled Board Certified OB-GYNs, both in employment and private practice, collectively managing over 5,000 deliveries annually. Our maternity hospitals are designed to provide comprehensive care for both mothers and infants under one roof. We are looking for dedicated providers who wish to join our mission of serving the women of Western New York.

• Attractive Compensation - $290,000 for Full-Time positions

• Board Certified OB-GYN
• Must possess a current, unrestricted license to practice in New York State
• Experience with high-risk cases
• Emergency surgical skills required

• Provide routine care for all obstetrical patients
• Deliver in-house obstetrical services, including emergency cesarean sections, spontaneous vaginal births, operative vaginal births, and rounding on antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients
• Offer backup support to obstetrical providers upon request, including VBAC coverage
• Assist fellow attending physicians in surgical procedures as needed and perform emergency GYN procedures that arise in the Emergency Department

The Labor and Delivery unit is seamlessly integrated with postpartum care and the NICU. Communication and handoffs are effective, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. All staff, including nurses, are certified in Electronic Fetal Monitoring, and safety drills are a regular part of our culture.

Our team includes supportive adult and pediatric providers, such as Board Certified Neonatologists, adult specialists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Pediatricians. Maternal-Fetal Medicine coverage is available for consultations. Anesthesia support is robust, and critical communication across departments is streamlined through the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system.
