Schedule

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00. Candidates should expect varied weekend shifts with a requirement of 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our trauma, orthopedic, and surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety and comfort for all patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create effective treatment plans and deliver patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the trauma/ortho/surgical unit.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-op care.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and standards of practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar nursing role.
• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Must pass a dysrhythmia and math of dosage test prior to starting.
• Ability to float to units with comparable patient populations as needed.
