Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Maternity/Labor & Delivery position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification. Details Work in the Maternity/Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting Full-time night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Occasional weekend shifts required Requirements Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required Current certifications: BLS/BCLS, NRP, PALS, and C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills Ability to perform heavy work, exerting 50-100 lbs of force occasionally and 25-50 lbs frequently Ability to handle frequent patient handling activity Additional Information Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care using the nursing process Provide patient and family education from admission through discharge Administer medications and perform treatments accurately and safely Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status Supervise and direct the work of Nursing Assistants (NAs) in a professional manner Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available and report malfunctions as needed Maintain thorough, concise, and accurate documentation of nursing care These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
