IT Associate/ Value Added Services (VAS) Warehouse Operator

• Location: Memphis

Purpose of the function

Perform warehousing activities such as kitting, rework, receiving, picking, packing, storing, and loading orders and ensure service excellence within the day to day operations.

Result area | Core activities

Processed orders and requests

• Assist with processing inbound orders and returns, unloading trucks, receiving, sorting, placing, if necessary or required while utilizing material handling equipment

• Assist with processing outbound orders (picking, pulling materials, preparing & packing boxes and placing orders in delivery area, shipping, loading) if necessary or required while utilizing material handling equipment

• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel

• Assist with wrapping orders and place them on trucks for delivery

• Registering transactions in warehouse management system

• Assist with physical counts of inventory

• Performing kitting and rework activities

• Apply quality approved labels under strict guidance from the FDA and client regulations

• Assist with creating labels for approval by quality, FDA, and the client

• Assist with cleaning tested devices and inspect for any cosmetic damages

• Assist with ensuring all proper accessories and components are included to complete the devices

• Validate accuracy of the final kitted products and label as specified

• Prepare products in advance of shipping

• Reporting stock differences and damages goods

• Recommending improvements

• Deliver supplies and equipment to other departments within the company by receiving and transferring items

• Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, shipping records, etc.

Organized work environment

• Ensuring a structured, safe and tidy working environment, include the proper disposal of all related e-waste materials

• Use various chemicals to properly clean and sanitize electronics

• Using tools and material handling correctly, reports damages and malfunctions

• Perform any other tasks to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse.

Compliant with regulations and procedures

• Maintain quality of performance by following organization procedures, attend training sessions and following Client specific requirements as per agreed procedures and instructions

• Compliance with legal regulations and business obligations

• Comply with all safety protocols

• Ensure compliance with quality procedures including ISO 13485, FDA, and other agencies.

Required knowledge and skills

Education, knowledge, and experience:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position

• Familiarity with voice picking systems or RF devices is a plus

• Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks)

Competenc i es and skills:

• Dexterity and attention to detail

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams)

• Social and communication skills for maintaining contacts (spoken and written)

• Organizational skills

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job

• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations

• License to operate forklifts, preferred but not required
