Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 60 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience worked in the last 3 years.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc), IMC/Progressive/General care populations. - Basic Arrhythmia experience. - CRRT-Nextstage experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous Charge Experience: Preferred - Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - High-acuity patient population. - Works in a variety of critical care settings including Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU. - Includes IMC/Progressive/General care populations as needed.

Shift & Scheduling: - Evening/Night, 8/12 hr shifts, 1900-0730, with every other weekend and some holidays.

Floating Requirements: - Will float to Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive unit.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
