Competitive Compensation: Base salary plus performance based bonus opportunities (DOE) 401(k) with Employer Contribution Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off and Firm Holidays CPA Support: Licensing and continuing education assistance Growth Focused: Professional development and clear advancement opportunities, with direct exposure to partners Hybrid Flexibility Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns across individual, partnership, S corp, C corp, and (preferably) trust and estate filings Research complex tax issues and build out supporting documentation Serve as a direct point of contact for clients on tax matters and planning opportunities Handle IRS and state tax notices and examinations as they come up Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, reviewing their work along the way Spot opportunities to improve internal processes for accuracy and efficiency Build long term client relationships through consistent, high quality service Stay on top of federal and state tax law changes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3 to 6+ years of recent public accounting tax experience Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations Experience preparing both business and individual tax returns Comfortable managing multiple deadlines with strong organizational skills Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Strong communication and client relationship skills Nice to Have: CPA license, or active progress toward one Experience with trust and estate taxation (1041) High net worth individual tax experience Exposure to multi entity business structures Background with manufacturing, distribution, professional services, or other closely held businesses Tax planning and consulting experience beyond compliance work Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
