About the Facility Level IV Trauma Center 18-bed emergency department with approximately 22,000 annual visits Physicians see approximately 1.7 patients per hour with an 11% admission rate Supported by 26 hours of daily physician coverage and 20 hours of APC coverage EMR: MediTech Robust specialty backup including anesthesiology, cardiology, ENT, gynecology, hematology/oncology, internal medicine, interventional radiology, and more Leadership Opportunity Facility medical director role with dedicated administrative responsibilities Lead departmental operations, physician engagement, quality initiatives, patient experience, and overall ED performance Mentor and support physicians and APCs while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered culture Opportunity to lead within one of the nation's leading EM organizations Position Details W2 employed position Base rate + RVU compensation model Additional monthly administrative stipend Lucrative sign-on bonus Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage Comprehensive benefits and health insurance Candidate Requirements ABEM board certified Minimum of two years of post-residency EM experience preferred Prior leadership experience required Active clinical practice within the last 12 months ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (expired certifications accepted) Interested in learning more?
