Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of CT experience.

Details

Acute care hospital setting in the Radiology department (2nd floor), CT unit
250-bed facility with average census of 100-110 patients
Equipment includes GE VCT 64 slice and GE Brightspeed 16 slice CT scanners
Uses Meditech EHR system
Patient population is mostly adults and geriatric, with occasional pediatric cases
Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Wednesday
Every other weekend required with variable weekend hours to cover staff absences
No on-call requirements
No floating requirements

Requirements

ARRT certification required
CPR/BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
License required if applicable
Strong critical thinking skills and CT-specific technical competency
Experience with common diagnoses including PE, stroke, kidney stones, appendicitis, chest pain, abdominal pain, and MVA trauma

Additional Information

Facility is an academic community hospital with comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour ED, cardiac rehabilitation, and 2 cath labs
Designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center
Team-oriented environment seeking candidates with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Scrubs of any color accepted; jeans and leggings not permitted
Consent to random on-site drug screening and completion of a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form required
Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
