What You'll Be Doing As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our community operates seamlessly. Your responsibilities will include: Performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light fixtures, replacing filters, and addressing general wear and tear. Safely using hand and power tools to complete various tasks. Moving furniture, boxes, maintenance supplies, and equipment as needed. Responding quickly and effectively to maintenance emergencies. Maintaining clean, safe, and hazard-free walking and working areas. Sweeping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and climbing to complete repetitive tasks safely. Working overhead and in confined spaces to address maintenance needs. Handling heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment when necessary. Climbing ladders or step stools where permitted and trained. Identifying and addressing safety hazards to ensure a secure environment. What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need: At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and push/pull up to 75–100 pounds of rolling equipment or supplies using safe body mechanics. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb stairs for extended periods. A commitment to safety and the ability to distinguish potential hazards.
