Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy and support to neonatal and pediatric patients in the NICU.
• Administer advanced respiratory care procedures using Draeger ventilators.
• Float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses to meet patient care needs.
• Ensure proper ventilatory management, including high frequency jets and oscillators.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Orientate students and new hires as needed, fostering a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a CRT or RRT required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with level 2 trauma and acute care.
• Experience with Draeger ventilators is required.
• BLS and CRT or RRT certification required; NRP and PALS preferred.
• Travel experience and flexibility to float across units required.
• Proficient with EPIC charting system and capable of working with various patient age groups.
