Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech

Experience: Minimum of 3 years overall experience as a Sterile Processing Tech.
License: National certification required.
Certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM, BLS required.
Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years travel experience required.


Description:
Position available for a Sterile Processing Tech in a Central Processing Unit.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years overall SPT experience.
Experience in Trauma Level 1 is required, and Trauma Level 2 experience is also necessary.
Candidates should be skilled in decontamination, assembly, wrapping, and container pans.
An orthopedic and spine background is preferred.
First-timers will not be accepted for this position.
Weekend coverage as needed is part of the job requirements.
Charting experience with Epic is required.
Candidates should be familiar with various surgical instruments and sterilization processes.
Ability to lift 25 pounds is required.
Experience with robotic systems and ultrasound is necessary.
Productivity expectations are in place regarding tray processing.
Modules may be required prior to starting the position, not billable to the facility.
