Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the CVOR unit will provide care for patients undergoing cardio and thoracic surgeries, including CABG, TAVR, and valve replacements. The nurse may also float to the Main OR as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care
• Assist in cardio and thoracic surgeries
• Maintain OR 1:1 patient ratios

Requirements:

• RN with a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Completion of an approved nursing education program and licensure by the South Dakota Board of Nursing
• Proficiency with EPIC, Omnicell, and Alaris systems
