Quick Facts Location: 1530 Lone Oak Road, Paducah, KY 42003 Start Date: 12/24/2026 End Date/Duration: Open-ended, with availability to cover 12/24-12/28 and 12/28-1/4 Shift: 24-hour shifts, 7 am 7 am Hours/Week: Variable, based on schedule Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licensure/Certifications: Active medical license in Kentucky required Experience: Prior cardiothoracic surgery experience required Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: To be discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do Perform adult cardiac surgeries including CABG, heart valve repair/replacement, and re-do cases Conduct general thoracic surgeries such as tube thoracostomy, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, VATS decortication, and lung biopsy Support structural heart procedures in hybrid OR or cath lab settings Manage high-risk ICU cases, including Impella procedures and critical patient medical management Collaborate with an experienced anesthesia team and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document procedures accurately using EPIC EMR system What You Need Valid Kentucky medical license and board certification in cardiothoracic surgery Proven experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, including ICU management Strong skills in high-risk case management and procedural support Ability to work independently in a hospital-based setting About the Assignment Join a dedicated, collaborative team at a prominent healthcare facility in Paducah, KY, specializing in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery.
