LEAD THE SALES TEAM IN A BRAND-OF-THE-ART FACILITY

Ken Garff Kia Avondale is looking for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager to join our team as we grow in a brand-new, state-of-the-art dealership facility .

This is an exciting opportunity for a proven automotive leader who understands dealership sales operations, desking, deal structure, customer engagement, and sales team performance .

Our new facility features approximately 40,000 square feet of state-of-the-art dealership space , creating a modern environment designed to support both our customers and our growing team.

We are looking for a Sales Manager who can lead from the desk, develop salespeople, structure deals, maximize gross profit, and drive consistent results.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Run the sales desk and manage deal flow from start to finish

Desk and structure automotive deals across a variety of credit situations

Review credit applications and work to maximize approvals and profitability

Understand lender programs and structure challenging deals effectively

Work closely with Finance and Sales to move deals through the process

Monitor gross profit, closing ratios, volume, and overall sales performance

Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and individual goals

Hire, train, coach, and develop sales professionals

Establish clear expectations and hold the team accountable

Monitor CRM activity and ensure leads and opportunities are consistently followed up

Work closely with Internet Sales and BDC operations to maximize lead opportunities

Manage showroom traffic, Internet leads, third-party leads, and repeat business

Help create a strong, competitive, customer-focused sales culture

Lead by example and maintain high standards for professionalism and performance

Collaborate with dealership leadership to achieve overall sales and profitability objectives

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

We are looking for an experienced automotive professional who has demonstrated success in a dealership sales management environment.

Qualified candidates should have:

Proven experience as an Automotive Sales Manager, Desk Manager, or similar dealership leadership role

Strong understanding of deal structure and automotive sales processes

Experience structuring deals and working through challenging credit situations

Strong knowledge of lender programs and financing processes

Ability to analyze deals and make sound business decisions

Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop salespeople

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Excellent follow-up and CRM discipline

Ability to manage multiple deals and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong understanding of gross profit and sales performance metrics

Professional, organized, competitive, and results-driven approach

Ability to lead a team while maintaining a positive and accountable culture

DESKING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

This position is designed for an experienced automotive manager who is comfortable taking control of the desk and making decisions in real time.

You should understand how to:

Evaluate credit and deal opportunities

Work with lenders

Maximize gross and profitability

Overcome objections

Work closely with Finance

Rework deals when necessary

Keep deals moving toward delivery and funding

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$15,000–$22,000+ PER MONTH DOE
