Radiology/Imaging - Mammography Tech

Candidates must hold a valid ARRT (M) certification and possess at least one year of mammography experience. Recent EPIC experience within the past two years is required and considered non-negotiable for submission. A current BLS certification is also required and must be verified along with ARRT credentials prior to onboarding. Candidates should also be prepared to adapt to rotating schedules and weekend shifts. Reliable personal transportation is required due to limited accessibility of public transportation in the area, and travel readiness is expected for individuals commuting from outside the immediate region.

Qualified candidates will perform mammography imaging procedures using Hologic mammography units while ensuring compliance with established imaging protocols and patient safety guidelines. Daily responsibilities include preparing patients for mammography exams, positioning patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images, and verifying image quality before submission for radiologist interpretation. Technologists will document imaging procedures and patient data within the EPIC electronic medical record system and utilize Visage imaging software for image management and review. The role requires adherence to radiation safety practices, infection control standards, and departmental workflow expectations. Staff may be required to assist with scheduling adjustments and support workflow efficiency across shifts. Participation in orientation sessions is required prior to the start of the assignment, and technologists must remain compliant with credential verification and facility documentation.
