Enhance your career in a dynamic construction environment.Job DescriptionMultifamily Superintendent OverviewThe Multifamily Superintendent oversees late-stage construction activities for multifamily projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.Coordinate trades such as painters, flooring installers, cabinet makers, and fixture technicians for project completion.Supervise mechanical, electrical, and plumbing hookups during the final stages of construction.Conduct quality control inspections to identify and rectify flaws before project handoff.Manage punch lists to resolve minor defects and ensure all tasks are completed.Deliver finished buildings or homes to clients or management, ensuring satisfaction and compliance.Collaborate with project teams to maintain high standards and meet deadlines effectively.Provide leadership and guidance to on-site teams, fostering a productive work environment.Multifamily Superintendent Key Responsibilities & DutiesCoordinate and supervise late-stage trades, ensuring timely and quality completion of tasks.Oversee mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations during final construction phases.Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address construction flaws or deficiencies.Manage punch lists, ensuring all minor defects are resolved before project delivery.Ensure compliance with safety standards and construction regulations on-site.Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align construction activities with project goals.Provide technical guidance and support to on-site teams, enhancing productivity and efficiency.Prepare and deliver completed projects to clients, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to specifications.Multifamily Superintendent Job RequirementsAssociate of Science (AS) degree in construction management or related field preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision; 5 years preferred.Proficiency in managing late-stage trades and overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.Strong knowledge of quality control processes and punch list management.Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate on-site teams effectively.Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulations.Ability to deliver projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.Experience in multifamily construction projects is highly desirable.
