Summary Provides professional tailoring and alterations services for customers in-store at South Coast Plaza, ensuring garments meet fit and quality standards. Works directly with customers and the alterations team to measure, fit, alter, and finish clothing with attention to detail and timely completion. Responsibilities Perform alterations and repairs on a variety of garments using industrial sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques. Take accurate measurements and conduct fittings with customers to ensure proper fit. Finish and inspect garments for quality, including pressing and final adjustments. Maintain workroom organization, inventory of supplies, and equipment upkeep. Communicate with sales associates and customers about timelines, pricing, and alteration status. Requirements 2+ years of professional tailoring or alterations experience. Proficiency with sewing machines, hand sewing, and garment construction techniques. Strong attention to detail and excellent finishing skills for high-quality results. Good customer service and communication skills; able to manage multiple alterations and meet deadlines.
