The individual must be self-motivated and will work with a cross functional team including engineering, factory management, program management, and operations assembly and test. This position will reside in the Manufacturing Engineering department.Your responsibilities will include evaluating test results of complex assemblies and determining root cause of failures. You will give directions for reworking and retesting failed assemblies. You will track trends to detect systemic problems. You will work closely with multiple functions such as manufacturing engineering, factory operations, and quality engineers to develop improvements in areas like yields, test procedures, cycle time, etc.The work assignment will be a first-shift role, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday with an optional 9/80 schedule. Occasional weekend work may be required to support factory operations.What You Will DoTroubleshooting systems failing test, identifying failure cause, documenting and dispositioning hardware for repairOperation of electrical test equipmentInvestigation of failure trends for root cause, implementation of corrective actions, supporting team leads in drafting and presenting Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) packages to managementParticipation in teams tasked with resolving technical issues, improving test yields, and reducing test cycle timeHands-on engagement with hardware within a factory environmentQualifications You Must HaveTypically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experienceExperience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits and documenting test resultsExperience developing and executing a test plan for issue resolution (including designing and implementing test equipment)Qualifications We PreferExperience working in a lab environment with standard EE lab equipment (i.e., power meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, signal sources, logic analyzers, etc.)Experience in developing and implementing basic software applicationsExperience reading drawings and electrical schematics, using Python and TestStandExperience with EO/IR systems in a production environmentExperience in data analysis for identifying trends and improvement opportunities and investigating root cause and corrective actionsWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
